Montesano leaves Longview with Lumberjill Invite title
The Bulldogs of Montesano took the cake at The Lumberdome, Saturday, when they defeated Mossyrock in the championship round of the Lumberjill Invitational volleyball tournament.
The annual tournament also featured teams from Toutle Lake, Wahkiakum, Elma, Rochester, and Hudson’s Bay, along with the hosts from R.A. Long.
The namesake Lumberjills fell to Montesano in the semifinals, played at Monticello Middle School, by scores of 25-19 and 25-23.
