The Tigers have done everything they needed to do in order to get a shot at revenge. Now all Clastkanie has to do is win the biggest match of the year on their home court in order later this week to have a shot at least a share of the 2A NW League volleyball title.
In order to file their claim to the trophy the Tigers will have to beat the defending OSAA 2A state champions from Portland Christian in four-sets or fewer. Earlier this season Clatskanie fell on the road to Portland Christian in four sets.
“We are so excited for the rematch,” Clatskanie coach Amanda Baker said. “We have been ramping on defense and mixing up the offense. Looking forward to some intense rallies and a great night of volleyball.”
Clatskanie ensured it would get a shot at redemption by knocking off Columbia Christian on the road, Monday, by scores of 25-10,25-10 and 25-15.
