Castle Rock’s Swihart, Nelson win at Bair titles

The Rockets put together an impressive, if somewhat muffled, performance at their own Jim Bair Memorial Tournament atop LeBaron Court, Saturday, at Castle Rock High School, The Rock saw two of its own rise to the top of the podium and placed fourth as a team out of 18 teams in attendance.

Castle Rock saw Braden Swihart and Nolen Nelson each win their respective brackets.

Last week Nelson was named a WIAA Athlete of the Week, and he followed up that impressive run by sweeping his 157-pound opponents at The Bair.
