Men’s Basketball

The defending NWAC champion and top-ranked Lower Columbia College men’s basketball team has picked up where it left off last season, opening the current campaign with an 80-65 victory over Portland, and backing it with a 77-64 triumph over Chemeketa during the previous week.

In the victory over sixth-ranked Portland, the Red Devils rolled to a 42-35 halftime lead, and never looked back.
