Covarrubias carrying water for LCC

Freshman Dea Covarrubias didn’t play like a first-year collegiate, as the freshman netted two goals for Lower Columbia College in a 3-0 drubbing of South Puget Sound in an NWAC West Region women’s soccer match at Northlake Field.

It was the first two scores of the season for Covarrubias, who hails from Vancouver’s Skyview High. She scored unassisted in the 16th minute, and converted an assist from Parker Tuttle in the 50th minute.
