After winning 16 games in a row, the Lower Columbia College women's basketball team struggled in its latest two outings against Pierce and South Puget Sound before having its winning streak ended in Olympia against South Puget Sound.

The LCC men's hoop team ran its current winning streak to two games, while the softball team stretched its winning run to 50 games with a two-game sweep of Pierce after winning 48 in a row last season culminating with the NWAC title. The baseball team also opened the season with a sweep of Clackamas at home over the weekend.
