Transition Season – McKenna Geffre comes up clutch for Lower Columbia soccer; Volleyball hits 3-game skid

Lower Columbia College has had its moments on both the soccer pitch and the volleyball court during recent Northwest Athletic Conference matches.
In women's soccer, 11th-ranked LCC (2-2-2 overall, 1-0-1 NWAC West Region)) turned away Pierce 3-1, and battled Centralia to a scoreless draw.
In volleyball, 12th-ranked LCC (4-6) swept Mount Hood 3-0, battled second-ranked Skagit Valley to a 3-2 setback, and turned away Umpqua 3-0.
In the NWAC Crossover Tournament held at Linn-Benton College in Albany, Ore., the Devils fell to fourth-ranked Yakima Valley 3-2, handled Mount Hood 3-1, were swept 3-0 by eighth-ranked Edmonds and sixth-ranked Treasure Valley.
