NWAC Sports / Red Devils Roundup

It's never easy to win a conference championship, let alone repeat and become a two-time champ.

Such as the case for the defending Northwest Athletic Association men's basketball champion Lower Columbia College Red Devils, who made it back to the title game, this time to face the Skagit Valley Cardinals.

The sixth-ranked Red Devils (23-7) battled third-ranked Skagit Valley down to the wire, only to fall 77-72 in the conference's final game. To get there, LCC eliminated top-ranked Bellevue 70-67 in the Final 4 portion of the championship.
