College Volleyball

The Lower Columbia College volleyball team had their successful season come to an abrupt end after dropping two of three matches in the NWAC Volleyball Regionals at Edmonds College.

The 10th ranked Red Devils (15-11) opened with a five-set (16-25, 25-17, 27-25, 17-25, 15-7) victory over 13th-ranked Walla Walla.

The Devils fell to top-ranked Edmonds in another five-set battle (25-27, 25-18, 27-25, 20-25, 9-15) in the Regional semifinals, and were then eliminated by Walla Walla in yet another five-set affair (21-25, 25-19, 23-25, 25-23, 10-15).
