College Women’s Basketball

Angelica Askey averaged nearly 20 points per game at the Port Angeles Pirate Classic, but the sixth-ranked Lower Columbia College women’s basketball team won only one of three games at the tournament hosted by Peninsula College in Port Angeles.

Lower Columbia (4-3) opened with a 79-70 win over 15th-ranked Bellevue, but fell to eighth-ranked Peninsula 60-54, and fell to 12th-ranked Chemeketa 88-84.
