This Day In History
May 3, 2001: R.A. Long’s Zach Kennedy drives in the go-ahead run in the sixth inning to provide a one-run lead, and starting pitcher Craig Marshall makes sure it holds up with a complete-game effort to give the Lumberjacks a 1-0 win over Mark Morris. The result came 13 days after the Jacks’ first game against the Monarchs on April 20 … when Kennedy drove in the go-ahead run in the sixth inning to provide a one-run lead … and Marshall made sure it held up with a complete-game effort … to give the Jacks a 2-1 win over their rivals.
