This Day In History
Nov. 24, 2018: Rainier’s Diesel attack takes over in the second half of the 3A State championship game, and the Columbians turn a 14-14 tie at halftime into a 44-14 blowout to claim their second state title and cap the first perfect season in school history. The Columbians, who threw the ball two times all game, ran for 444 yards as a group, led by Joey Tripp’s 263 and David Katon’s 175.
