Mar. 7, 2015: The Mark Morris girls basketball team caps a dominant season in dominant fashion, taking down W.F. West 69-53 to earn its second 2A state title in three years. Karley Eaton drilled a tournament-record six 3-pointers en route to a 24-point night, while her sister Kourtney Eaton nearly had a triple-double with 14 points, 12 rebounds, and eight assists. Ashley Coons pitched in 12 points for the Monarchs, who hit 13 3-pointers on the day.

“The offensive shooting capability, the offensive display — I don’t know; there might not be a team like this again,” MM coach Steve Rooklidge said.
