• Feb. 12, 1972: The battle for the cellar in the Trico goes down to the final quarter, but Woodland puts it together down the homestretch to take a 60-50 win over Stevenson. Tom Setere led the Beavers, who trailed by one point at the end of the third quarter, with 23 points, while Bill Andreason added 15.
