This Day In History
Oct. 8, 2005: The Toledo-Winlock girls soccer team goes into the locker room down 3-0 at halftime to Elma, but roars back with three goals in the final 25 minutes to extend the match, before winning in a shootout. Candi Hope got T/W on the board just before the 70th minute, Kassi Reisbeck made it a one-goal game in the 72nd, and Tori Reisbeck leveled the match on the stroke of full time. Ellen Stedel made a pair of saves in the shootout, before the Eagles sent their final attempt wide.
