This Day In History
Sep. 10, 2004: It isn’t the prettiest of football games, but Toutle Lake does enough to beat Naselle 13-6 and snap a 10-game skid in the process.
“It was a pretty sloppy night, with a lot of rain,” TL coach Scott Grabenhorst said. “Both of us fumbled the ball a lot, particularly in the first half, but we settled down and played a good second half.”
The Ducks opened the scoring behind a 34-yard touchdown from James Davidson, their 155-pound tailback who finished with a game-high 152 yards. Perry Eckert scored Toutle Lake’s other touchdown in the third quarter, from a yard out.
