Kelso made the most of its first appearance at the state tournament in nearly a decade by finishing second as a team last Weekend at Bowlero in Tukwilla. The Lassies also saw Arianna Long finish fourth individually at the 3A State girls bowling tournament.

The runner-up finish is tied the program’s highest placement at State.

“(The girls) delivered a standout performance,” Kelso head coach Justin Fugleberg said. “Our lane conditions were challenging, but once again this team showed its ability to adjust, stay composed, and remain in contention from start to finish.”
