Lassies bring hardware home; get ready for The Braided 64

The Kelso girls wrestling team traveled to Reno, Nevada on Dec. 29 and 30, earning a team championship out of 86 teams at the Sierra Nevada Classic.

“After finishing third last year, the girls were motivated and determined, and it showed throughout the tournament,” Kelso coach Bobby Freund said. “They competed with confidence, toughness, and great team chemistry from start to finish.”
