The 2A District IV boys basketball tournament got underway earlier this week with a pair of pigtail games just outside the fringes of The Blast Zone coverage area. But those games held major ramifications for local teams with both Woodland and R.A. Long waiting impatiently to learn who their quarterfinal round foes would be.
That bracket was set in ink Thursday night, putting both the Beavers and Lumberjacks into scramble mode in order to put the finishing touches on their game plans.
Woodland will host W.F. West after the Bearcats overwhelmed Mark Morris by a score of 62-46 in Chehalis.
R.A. Long will host Ridgefield after the Spudders scorched Aberdeen by a score of 95-65 in Potato Town.
