The Lower Columbia women’s basketball team saw its season end with a 66-58 loss to Clackamas in the NWAC Final Four, Friday, March 13, at Columbia Basin College.

The defeat was a disappointing finish to a day that saw the LCC men win their semifinal affair in dramatic fashion, earning a return to the NWAC title tilt and a chance to defend last year’s title.

But the LCC women weren’t as lucky. The Red Devils suffered an offensive swoon in the second quarter and were never able to get all the way up to comeback speed.
