RIDGEFIELD — There was no joy for Pulpville on Wednesday when both of Longview’s high school baseball teams lost in the 2A District IV Tournament in contests held on the artificial confines of The RORC.

Mark Mark fell to Aberdeen 5-1 in an elimination game on the dark side of the bracket, just 24-hours after losing 4-2 in the opening round at W.F. West.

Meanwhile, R.A. Long lost 11-1 to W.F. West in a semifinal affair, just one day after defeating Aberdeen 9-0 on the back of a no-hitter by Riley Young.
