This Day In History
Oct. 24, 1952: Kalama comes north and hands Castle Rock a 19-0 upset, ending the Rockets’ three-year winning streak at 25 games. The Chinooks held their hosts under 100 yards of total offense, and got the scoring started after a blocked punt gave them the ball at the CR 20-yard line. Cecil Betz, Bob Hunden, and George Graham got into the end zone for Kalama.
