This Day In History
Jan. 16, 2002: The Kelso girls basketball team falls just short of beating River Ridge from the free-throw line, ultimately needing one solitary field goal (but getting a few more) in a 105-42 blowout. The Hilanders finished the night 41-for-59 from the charity stripe. Britney Dieter and Becky Hammon led Kelso with 20 points apiece, while Amber Bolin had 17 and Ashlee Marston chipped in 15.
