This Day In History
Mar. 27, 1992: The R.A. Long baseball team strikes out 11 times and only records four hits, but finishes in front in the only category that matters, beating Prairie 4-2 in its Greater St. Helen’s Conference opener. The Jacks brought home three runs in the first inning on knocks by Shane Rooney and Tim Davis, and after allowing two runs in the bottom of the first, Mike Wilson kept the Falcons to nothing more in the next five frames. Curtis Robinson struck out a pair in the seventh inning to earn the save.
