This Day In History
Sept. 25, 2014: The R.A. Long girls soccer team went ahead early and held on for 77 minutes to earn its first 2A GSHL win of the season, 1-0 over Hudson’s Bay. Mikaela McElligot earned the Lumberjills a penalty kick in the third minute, and Hannah Speed converted. Keeper Katie Morgan finished with five saves to seal the shutout.
