Feb. 13, 2022: Lexi Grumbois leads the way with a 30-piece as the Kelos girls basketball team drops Bonney Lake 61-49 in its 3A Bi-District tournament opener, punching its ticket to the regional round of the state tournament. The Hilanders trailed by six points at halftime but took control with a 13-2 run in the third quarter, capped by back-to-back Grumbois three-point plays. Nat Fraley, on a rare night not leading the scoring charge, filled out the stat sheet with five assists, five steals, and five rebounds to go along with her 13 points.
