This Day In History

• May 9, 1989: Jim Wright and Dave Hadebank win their singles matches and Allan Lee and Kevin Palmateer earn a doubles victory to lead the R.A. Long boys tennis team to a 3-2 win over Columbia River, handing River its first Greater St. Helen’s League loss in over five years and earning the undefeated Jacks at least a share of the league title.
