This Day In History

• Dec. 23, 2005: The Castle Rock boys basketball team takes the top prize in its own holiday tournament, beating Clatskanie 65-47. Aaron Gehring dominated down low to the tune of a 24-point, 22-rebound double-double, while Isiah Goodman added 13 points and 10 rebounds off the bench for the Rockets. Scott Hodges led Clatskanie with 19 points, including going 3-for-5 from beyond the arc.
