• Sep. 9, 1994: A defensive stalemate in Egg Town comes down to special teams, and Winlock gets the big play on a 55-yard punt-return touchdown from Mike Lane in a 15-6 over Napavine in Central B League action. Lane’s scamper — plus Frank Dorner’s two-point conversion, gave the Cardinals an eight-point cushion, and the defense did the rest in the second half.
