This Day In History
Oct. 15, 2010: Dustin Eaton finds Chandler Chapman for a 17-yard go-ahead touchdown pass with 32 seconds left, lifting Naselle out of a hole of its own making to a 24-21 win over Northwest Christian (Lacey). After taking a three-point lead on an Eaton run with five minutes remaining, the Comets provided 50 of the 65 yards in the Navigators’ ensuing drive with penalties, letting NWC score to take the lead right back.
“We like to make ‘em crazy,” Naselle coach Jeff Eaton joked.
