This Day In History
Oct. 20, 1995: Andy Lundberg, generously listed on R.A. Long’s roster at 5-foot-9, 160 pounds, outgains his weight, going for 167 yards and four touchdowns in a 28-0 win over Mark Morris. Lundberg found the end zone once in each quarter — and also kicked all four extra points — to account for the night’s scoring entirely by himself.
That Day In History
Oct. 19, 2007: Alec Sealund and Blake Anderson tally 152 yards apiece on the ground, splitting the workload to lead Wahkiakum to an 18-12 win over Pe Ell play in Central 2B League action. Sealund started the scoring with a 38-yard touchdown in the first quarter, and scored on a 33-yard rush to tie the game at 12-12 before halftime. The Mules held their foes scoreless in the second half, setting up Anderson to dive in from 2 yards out in the fourth to put them ahead for good.
