Prep Basketball: Blast Zone squads ready to make noise at State Tournaments
Big Dance — R.A. Long, Mark Morris, and Toledo boys; Woodland girls still alive in season's final week

High School Boys Basketball
No. 8 Mark Morris (21-5) vs No. 9 Sequim (20-4)
Wednesday, 2 p.m.
Yakima SunDome

Mark Morris backed into its spot at the Yakima SunDome after losing back-to-back games to the top two teams in the state - Lynden and R.A. Long. Now, the Monarchs will have to take care of business against Sequim in order to stay alive in the 2A State Tournament.
Sequim finished No. 9 in the RPI and earned the No. 9 seed to the tournament, which makes it a dangerous opponent in a loser-out game.
Of course, this isn’t the Monarchs’ first rodeo in Yakima. Mark Morris is essentially a seasonal guest at the SunDome, and the boys in baby blue have got plans on bringing home a trophy of some sort. They’re just not sure what size, yet.
