Oct. 9, 2003: Two days after taking down Mark Morris in five sets, the R.A. Long volleyball team pulls out a four-set upset over No. 3 Columbia River 25-15, 27-25, 21-25, 25-16 at the Lumberdome. Whitney Luchau led the RAL attack with 14 kills, while Amy Higginson had 11 and Kayli Anderson dished out 40 assists.
“The girls came out and lit up the gym,” RAL coach Jennifer Godinho said.
