This Day In History

• Dec. 10, 2008: The R.A. Long girls basketball team holds on to the slimmest of margins in exciting fashion, blocking three shots in the final 10 seconds to cling to a 43-42 non-league win over La Center.
  The Lumberjills blew the game open with a 19-7 run in the second quarter, then proceeded to blow the 12-point halftime lead in the third, forcing the game back into dramatic territory. Katie Gudgell led the way with 11 points, seven rebounds, and four steals.
