This Day In History
Jan. 7, 1992: With three minutes to go in the third quarter, the Kelso boys basketball team’s deficit is greater than its scoring total with the Hilanders trailing 37-17 to Fort Vancouver, but the Scotties hit their stride late to come all the way back for a 54-50 win. With leading scorers Ryan Chilton and Tom Lloyd spending the game in foul trouble — both would foul out, along with Mike Nazelrod — Jason Hight took his turn to lead the scoring effort with 19 points.
