This Day in History
Sept. 22, 2009: Tiffany Tornow scores three goals and assists Emma Luhn for a fourth — all in the first half of Toledo-Winlock United’s 5-0 win over Rochester in SWW 1A Evergreen play. Brianna Votaw capped off the scoring with a goal in the second half.
That Day in History
Sept. 21, 1962: Backed up against its goal line, R.A. Long holds strong on three Fort Vancouver plays, before Mike Noah comes down with a wayward Trapper throw and takes it 95 yards the other way for a touchdown. That proved to be the decisive — and only — blow landed, giving Jacks a 6-0 win in SWW League play.
